As you may know, I’m a part of the Pipeline Fellowship. I’m excited to announce a Pipeline Fellowship Summit — if you’re in the Bay Area, please try and stop by. The following is excerpted from the Pipeline Fellowship website:
Angel investing bootcamp for women philanthropists announces its inaugural Bay Area class
The Pipeline Fellowship–an angel investing bootcamp for women philanthropists–has announced its inaugural 2012 Bay Area Pipeline Fellowship class.
“Introducing the Pipeline Fellowship to the Bay Area is going to be a win-win for both locally based social entrepreneurs, as well as impact investors,” noted Tricia Compas-Markman, Founder of DayOne Response, Inc., which is based in the Bay Area and secured capital via the 2012 NYC Pipeline Fellowship Pitch Summits. “There is an abundance of early-stage women-owned startups around the Bay that are making an impact both locally and internationally. However, through the Pipeline Fellowship, a new door is opening for these early-stage startups to find a solid fit with like-minded women angels who can help bridge the funding gap while increasing impact.”
The Pipeline Fellowship will launch the Bay Area program with its signature conference on angel investing. The 2012 Bay Area Pipeline Fellowship Conference, which is sponsored by Goodwin Procter LLP and is open to the public, will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012. Speakers include representatives from 500 Startups, RSF Social Finance, Illuminate Ventures, Black Founders, and Golden Seeds. To register, go to: http://2012bayareapipelinefellowshipconference.eventbrite.com
The Pipeline Fellowship will be offering its angel investing bootcamp in Boston, DC, and NYC in the spring of 2013. To apply, go to: http://pipelinefellowship.producteev.com
